Abstract
On August 17, 2001 Act 343 - the Malaysian Cocoa Board (Incorporation) (Amendment) Act 2001 was enacted and came into force on 1 September 2001. The amendment made to carry out the regulation on the importation of cocoa beans, the transfer function MARDI research and market development functions FAMA to the Board, the rules for the enforcement of the act and update the rules and instructions of the Government to keep pace with changes in the statutory bodies of the others.
