Abstract

The subject of taxation often presents significant challenges due to its complex statutory and regulatory issues. Students frequently struggle with understanding Malaysian tax law because of its complicated nature, frequent updates, and specialized legal terminology. In today's rapidly evolving educational landscape, leveraging digital innovation to enhance the teaching of employment income in taxation is crucial. Implementing interactive technologies in Taxation 1 at the university level represents a progressive approach to education. The objective of these interactive tools and resources, students can understand difficult tax concepts more effectively and engage more deeply with the subject matter, making the learning process more accessible and interesting. To solve these problems interactive tools such as infographics illustration and interactive quizzes and games approach are implemented. Infographics illustration can provide clear and visual explanations of employment income concepts. Assessment methods, such as practice exams and peer reviews, ensure that students can measure their progress and receive constructive feedback. By integrating interactive quizzes and games, students can explore various tax scenarios and strategies, deepening their understanding through active participation rather than passive learning.
