Community for Conservation: Save the Turtles, Save the Future

The Community for Conservation: Save the Turtles, Save the Future programme was successfully organised by students from MBA1325E and MBA1325F of the Diploma in Office Technology Management programme, Faculty of Business and Management, UiTM Cawangan Melaka, Alor Gajah Campus at the Turtle Information and Conservation Centre, Padang Kemunting, Melaka. The programme served as a community engagement initiative that combined environmental education, conservation awareness, and experiential learning. The programme involved the participation of lecturers, students, and officers from the Turtle Information and Conservation Centre. Through a series of educational and conservation-based activities, participants were exposed to the ecological importance of marine turtles, the threats they face due to pollution, habitat destruction, and climate change, as well as ongoing conservation efforts to protect endangered turtle species in Malaysia.
