Abstract

These 14 weeks industrial training is compulsory for every student of our course, Diploma in Planting Industry Management. I were given chance to choose for practical places. I had applied to do my training at Malaysian Cocoa Board that was placed at Ranau district. As a practical student, I must complete this industrial training within 14 weeks and learn all about the agency from its background, objective of foundation, their function, their department and administration. After that, all of practical student were given times to prepare our report and presentation to be presented to our lecturer. Then, will be given marks based on perfonnance during the practical and also during presentation. The training objectives are to give the experience and quick view of working environment.

The other objectives of industrial training are:-

1. Improve and widening student technical skills
2. Enable student to associate the theories they learned and practical
3. Implant student with soft skills and improve their self-quality.
