The purpose of this research was to enhance our understanding on several selected dimensions that influence the acceptance of services provided by Bank Islam (BIMB) among students of Institutions of Higher Learning and Technical Training in Terengganu. Our model investigated three major factors which influence the acceptance of BIMB services. Using previous literatures, three major factors were identified, namely, religion, marketing and the benefits sought. The results show that these three factors are able to explain the acceptance of BIMB services. The investigation involved two different categories of educational institutions in Terengganu. These are Institutions of Higher Learning and Institutions of Technical Training. Two institutions from each category were chosen, and a survey of 375 students was conducted. Applying descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression in measuring all the concepts investigated resulted with the r-square values of 54% indicating that all the identifiable factors in the study are relevant towards increasing the acceptance of BIMB services.
