Atifa Energy Sdn Bhd

This report on industrial training has been compiled as an academic requirement for the course of Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) Finance (BA272), course code MGT 667. The internship has been completed at Atifa Energy Sdn. Bhd., a company under Atifa Group Sdn. Bhd., located in the state of Melaka. The period of industrial training was 16 weeks, commencing from 22nd September 2025 until 9th January 2026. The internship was allocated to the Accounting Department. This department is responsible for handling the basic financial operations of the company, such as recording, reconciliations, paying, and reporting. The exposure to this department gave a practical understanding of accounting cycles and cash flow management problems of a mid-size business organization operating at the interface of the energy and maritime logistics industries. There are nine major sections to this report. The company and student profiles are shown in the first sections. A strategic analysis of Atifa Energy using the SWOT framework is included in the report's central section, which also offers a reflection on the training experience. This section offers insight into the company's internal and external environments by analyzing its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The concluding sections provide a summary of important conclusions, and suggestions backed up by citations to current scholarly research. The internship has improved the student's technical and soft skills, such as financial documentation, data verification, communication, and teamwork. More significantly, the internship experience also connected the theoretical learning at Universiti Teknologi MARA with the practical application in a fast-paced energy industry environment.
