LUXASIA (Asia Business Service Sdn Bhd)

This industrial training report summarizes my four-month internship experience at LUXASIA Group, within the Asia Business Services (ABS) division as an Accounts Payable intern under the Centre of Excellence (COE) Finance team. The internship was conducted from 22 September 2025 to 31 January 2026 as part of the academic requirements for the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). The main objective of this industrial training was to provide practical exposure to real-world accounting and finance operations, particularly in the Accounts Payable function. Throughout the internship, I was involved in processing vendor invoices, handling direct shipment transactions, verifying staff claims, and performing month-end closing activities. I gained hands-on experience using accounting systems such as Esker and SAP, which enhanced my understanding of end-to-end invoice processing workflows in a multinational organization. This internship strengthened my technical knowledge in accounts payable processes, improved my attention to detail, and enhanced my communication and time management skills. The exposure to a professional working environment also increased my confidence in applying theoretical knowledge to practical situations. Overall, the industrial training at LUXASIA was a valuable learning experience that contributed significantly to my academic and professional development.
