This industrial training report presents my internship experience at Carsem (M) Sdn Bhd, a well-established semiconductor manufacturing organization located in Ipoh, Perak. Throughout the internship period from 11 August 2025 until 23 January 2026, I was placed under the Human Resources Department, specifically the Learning & Development (L&D) section. The report highlights the company background, job scope, projects and tasks assigned, and the practical exposure I gained in various HR functions, especially in training coordination, employee development initiatives, and HR administrative processes. This experience has enhanced my knowledge in Human Resource Management and developed essential workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and professionalism. Additionally, this report includes a critical analysis of HR practices in the organization, focusing on key HR areas such as staffing, training & development, performance management, and employee relations. Strengths and improvement opportunities are discussed along with practical recommendations supported by relevant academic references. Overall, the internship has significantly strengthened my understanding of real HR practices and prepared me for future employment in the human resource field.
