Abstract
Physical activity is an important medium that plays a role in creating societies that practice a healthy lifestyle. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between motivation extrinsic and level of involvement in physical activity among the teachers in schools. Aspects covered in the survey include level of participation in physical activity, motivation extrinsic that teacher's need in physical activity and the relationship between extrinsic motivation and physical activity levels among teachers. A total of 30 teachers from SMK Alam Megah 2 have been selected to be the respondents in this descriptive study. The data was then analyzed by using Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS). Findings from this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the relationship of physical activity and motivation extrinsic in the appearance category. There is no significant relationship between the two variables in health category, challenges, social, and reward. In conclusion teachers are motivated extrinsically to perform physical activity in order to help them look good. Discussion and recommendation are provided at the end in this report.
