This report represents the overview of KK Supermart & Superstore Sdn. Bhd., including the company profile, internship experience, SWOT analysis and recommendations. The internship was completed over the 24 weeks which is 6 months, from 11 August 2025 to 23 January 2026. KK Supermart is one of the well-established convenience store chains in Malaysia, operating 24 hours and offering a wide range of daily essential products at the affordable prices. The company also focus more on customer convenience, which helps it remain the competitive in the retail industry. During the internship in the Industrial Relations and Employee Relations department, the tasks included handling the employee documents, assisting with the domestic inquiries, supporting the HR compliance activities and helping organize the internal eventsThese activities provided the practical exposure to the real workplace practices and helped develop the communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.Lastly, the SWOT analysis shows that KK Supermart has strong HR systems and good compliance with labour laws. The challenges, such as high employee turnover and limited training opportunities, were identified. The opportunities include the government assistance programmes like MyKasih and SARA, as well as the growing demand for the convenience stores that can support business growth, while the strong competition and negative online employee reviews are the threats for the KK Supermart.
