Good health & well-being: why it matters

UiTM, Faculty of Civil Engineering (2025) Good health & well-being: why it matters. Bulletin. Faculty of Civil Engineering, Shah Alam.

Abstract

Promoting good health and well-being is a fundamental pillar for ensuring sustainable societal development and economic stability. This paper examines the critical factors influencing public health outcomes, including access to quality healthcare services, mental health support, and preventative medical interventions. It highlights how investing in community wellness programs directly mitigates the global burden of non-communicable diseases and enhances the overall quality of life. By addressing health disparities among vulnerable populations, the study underscores that a healthy society is essential for fostering productivity, resilience, and long-term prosperity.
