Abstract
The construction industry, which is typically referred to as "high-risk," has a substantial influence on worker health and safety. The aim for this study is to determine the awareness of safety and health risk in construction works. Specifically, this investigate either lack of safety and health in construction industry, lack of enforcement by employer and poor in risk prevention are the problem in identifying the awareness. Quantitative questionnaires were distributed to the competence construction's stakeholder in Penang, Northern Asia. Occupational safety and health (OSH) have become a highly significant problem for stakeholders to take care of the human resource because of the large number of accidents that occur in construction and had repercussions of employees, organisations, society, and countries.
