Abstract
Tangk:ulap Estate is part ofPalmco Plantation(s) Sdn Bhd, which is a subsiadary of lOI Group. It is located 142 km away from Sandakan town, in the kota Kinabatangan district Tangk:ulap Estate was established by Tung Hup Enterprises Sdn Bhd. In 1989 in which the forest was convert into a palm oil plantation. IOI Corporation purchased the property in 1997. Tangk:ulap Estate covers a total area 2277.45 Ha. the housing facility and the amenities are situated in the estate itself There are no villages surrounding the estate. The estate is surrounded by partly forest reserve and plantation namely Sri Ranau Estate, Agroco Estate and two other IOI estate which is Mayvin 2 and Mayvin 5.
