Abstract
The Farmers' Organization Authority also known as Lembaga Pertubuhan Peladang (LPP) was established on 14 February 1973 through the enactment of the LPP Act 1973 (Act 110), the Farmers' Organization Authority Act. The establishment of LPP is aimed at assuming responsibility for improving the economic and social status of the peasant community under a specialized role. Act 109, the Farmers 'Organization Act 1973 [4] has been specifically designed to restructure farmers' associations and agricultural-based cooperatives. Under this Act, farming associations are repealed and re-registered as farming organizations, while agricultural-based cooperatives become members of the LPP. Lembaga Pertubuhan Peladang Kota Belud has two main sections, which are administration and Skim Baja Padi Kerajaan Persekutuan (SBPKP) Sections.
