Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of outdoor recreation on physical health outcomes among 446 residents of Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia. Using a quantitative survey design featuring the GLTEQ and GHQ-12 instruments, the research analyzes the frequency and intensity of participation alongside perceived physical well-being. Through Spearman correlation and independent t-tests, the study identifies links between recreational habits and health benefits while accounting for gender-based differences, offering essential data on urban wellness within the Malaysian context.
