Abstract
This article examines the critical intersection of technological efficiency and human-centric value in business education, arguing that the traditional lecture model must evolve to counter the "shortcut culture" of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). In an era of information overload, students increasingly default to transactional, "Head-only" learning that bypasses critical inquiry. To mitigate the fragmentation of the human element, the author advocates for a Listening Pedagogy grounded in the holistic Head, Heart, and Hand (3H) framework. This model necessitates a role shift for the instructor, from a mere "content deliverer" to a "listening architect" who models empathy and presence. Aligning with contemporary industry demands for "durable skills," this pedagogical shift ensures that business graduates are not merely AI operators but leaders capable of navigating human complexities.
