Tenaga Cable Industries Sdn Bhd

The six-month internship at Tenaga Cable Industries Sdn Bhd, from March 3 to August 15, 2025, provided a deep insight into how a leading cable manufacturing company runs its daily operations. Observed that the different departments working together to produce high-quality cables, learned about the supply chain process, and saw how the company manages quality control to meet industry standards. A significant part of the internship involved spending almost four months working at the reception area. This role allowed the trainee to meet and interact with wide range of employees, visitors, and clients, which helped to recognize many key personnel and understand their roles within the organization. It became clear how important the reception is as the first point of contact and how it connects different department through smooth communication for Human Resource. Besides the role at reception, one activity that stood out was attending leadership training programs designed to develop future business leaders. These programs included workshops on decision-making, teamwork, and communication, all aimed at preparing employees for increased responsibilities. Overall, this internship has been a stepping stone in the trainee career, giving a practical knowledge and confidence to pursue future opportunities in the industry.
