Abstract
The SWIZIE Swizel Stool is crafted specifically for fine art students who often find themselves immersed in their studios for hours on end. It beautifully merges ergonomic comfort with creative functionality and a commitment to sustainable design. Drawing inspiration from bar stools, draughting stools, and the sleek lines of mid-century modern style, this stool boasts a rotating seat, a cushioned backrest, a circular footrest, and a handy modular magnetic tray for tools. Constructed from robust rubberwood and anchored by a solid steel base, it effortlessly combines natural warmth with industrial durability. This project is in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting responsible material usage and enhancing the product’s longevity. The SWIZIE Swizel Stool fosters a supportive and inspiring atmosphere that elevates the artistic process.
