Abstract

This report provides an overview of my internship experience at Winenrich Enterprise Sdn. Bhd., located in Bachang, Melaka. I was placed in the Accounting Department from 3rd March 2025 to 15th August 2025, as part of the requirements for my Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Finance. The internship aimed to equip students with practical knowledge, industry exposure, and a deeper understanding of their chosen field. During my five-month placement, I was entrusted with a range of responsibilities that allowed me to apply and expand on what I’ve learned in university. My tasks included handling daily transactions, preparing financial reports, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting with monthly financial statements. I also observed internal processes, team collaboration, and decision-making procedures within the department. Throughout this period, I developed essential skills that are highly relevant in the workplace. These include managing client interactions, working effectively under pressure, and multitasking to meet tight deadlines. I also encountered real world challenges such as addressing delayed client payments and overcoming communication gaps which taught me to be more adaptable, proactive, and confident outside my comfort zone. Overall, this internship has been an invaluable learning journey. It not only enhanced my technical and interpersonal skills but also offered a clearer perspective on the realities of the accounting and finance profession. The experience strengthened my professional mindset and affirmed my passion for this field. I believe it has prepared me well for future roles and further growth in my career.
