The stream savers: CSR Sungai Melaka program with 4 strategic partnership on cultivating awareness of river & environmental conservation

A total of 20 lecturers and 66 students from the Diploma in Office Management, Faculty of Management and Business, UiTM Melaka, Alor Gajah Campus participated in the program The Stream Savers: CSR Melaka River - Save The Flow, Watch It Grow held at Dataran Pengkalan Rama, Pantai, Melaka. In cooperation with strategic partners PPSPM, MBMB, and SWM Environment Melaka Region, the LuMora Squad, which is made up of final semester student of Diploma in Office Management from groups MBA1325L and 1325M at UiTM Melaka, Alor Gajah Campus, organized a CSR program centered on river and environmental sustainability under Project Advisor Cik Afrah Hayati binti Abdul Rahman and assistant Nuraqeelah Muhammad Hamdan. The program been officiated by PPSPM CEO Mr. Shaharul Azuar bin Idris and attended by Dr. Siti Normah binti Awang Tuah, Mr. Musa Bin Talib, Mrs. Niny Ruzaini Mohd Aris, and Mr. Mohamad Zulikhram bin Zulibrahim. This program satisfied the criteria of the Event Management course (OBM310) in order to cultivate community responsibility for the Melaka River and enhance students' professional abilities. A river cleanup with PPSPM, educational exhibits, an Environmental Casual Talk, poster making and recycling innovation challenges judged by SWM Environment were all successfully integrated into the project.
