Abstract

The centre for foundation studies, UiTM DENGKIL, successfully ran the 3R asid programme from December 2024 to March 2025, promoting the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle among students. Launched in October 2024 by the Dahlia College representative committee’s quality and innovation exco, the programme featured an interactive forum with student panellists from science, engineering, tesl, and law, offering multidisciplinary insights on sustainability. Activities included recycling campaigns, creative competitions using recycled materials, and the distribution of infographics to raise environmental awareness. Led by Nur Mirza Alya and Muhammad Izz Ziqry, with guidance from advisors Mr. Zaidi Yaacob and Dr. Nur Asyikin Ahmad Nazri, the initiative successfully engaged 172 students and received strong support from university management. The programme not only encouraged sustainable habits but also fostered student character development through experiential learning. with positive feedback from all parties involved, 3R asid stands as a model initiative for integrating environmental responsibility into campus culture.
