Lestari@PTAR 2.0: SDG in the public sector - a Malaysian experience

UiTM Samarahan 2 recently hosted the Lestari@PTAR 2.0 series, themed “SDG in the Public Sector: a Malaysian Experience,” on 25 June 2025. The event featured Dr. Yussri Sawani, a senior lecturer from UiTM Sarawak, who delivered an insightful talk on aligning Malaysia’s public sector governance with the sustainable development goals (SDGS). He shared case studies, national policies, institutional efforts, and future strategies-highlighting both achievements and ongoing challenges. The session brought together students, academics, and administrative staff, serving as a platform for meaningful dialogue on the public sector’s role in sustainable development. organised under the Lestari @ PTAR Sarawak initiative, the programme reaffirmed UiTM’S commitment to advancing sustainability through education, collaboration, and informed discourse.
