lftar Perdana 2019

lftar Perdana was organised on 13 May 2019 at Dewan Annexe, UiTM. The program was a collaborative effort between UiTMLaw student organisation SMF and the staff of UiTMLaw. The program received funding from UiTM, and it has also benefited from the generous contributions from the alumni of UiTMLaw. Among the contributions received from UiTMLaw alumni includes the donation from Datuk Nik Noorzul Thani, currently one of the Senior Partners of the prestigious law firm Zaid Ibrahim & Co. SMF Advisor, Dr. lbtisam@ llyana, and Ms Tahrina as SMF President and Program Director has succesfully led the initial preparation for the program. The Program Advisors, Mr. lzuan lzzaidi Azmi and Dr. Rafizah Abu Hassan were actively involved in the preparation of the event, along with a team of staff in organising the event that was attended by 300 guests. The event commenced at 6.30 pm where students, staff and alumni arrived and registered. Programs for the night include Quran recitation, performances of nasyid songs and tazkirah. The Deputy Vice Chancellor for ICAN and former Dean of UiTMLaw, Professor Dato' Dr. Rahmat Mohamad graced the event with his presence, along with other distinguished VIPs, among others Tuan Haji Mohammad Bokhari bin Shariff, also one of the former Deans of UiTMLaw; and Mr Shamsul Azlan, High Committee member of UiTMLaw Alumni Association. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hartini Saripan delivered the welcoming remarks before the breaking of fast.
