Meeting with Dr. Catherine Maternowska of the Global Partnership on Violence

As one of the UNICEF Malaysia's partner, the UiTMLaw Child Law Centre has been invited to attend a meeting with Dr. Catherine Maternowska of the Global Partnership on Violence. Addressing Violence Against Children (VAC) will be the focus of the activities which will be conducted by the Child Law Centre in the coming year, in line with UNICEF's efforts towards implementing the Sustainable Development Goals on Violence with all child protection partners in Malaysia. In an effort to support this goal. UNICEF and other agencies developed the INSPIRE tool and resource package to guide their efforts. This meeting is part of the overall mission to provide platform with VAC partners to discuss Malaysia's role and contribution in ending violence, including potentially as a designated Pathfinder country.
