UiTMLaw goes global through MoU with Herbert Smith Freehills

On 12 July 2019, UiTMLaw organised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the University Teknologi MARA (UITM) and Herbert Smith Freehills, a leading global law firm with 27 offices internationally, including in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The purpose of the MoU is to enhance the industry's network of mutual relations between UiTMLaw and Herbert Smith Freehills in order to give the students of UiTMLaw exposure in international and cross-border legal practice. Among the agreed scope of collaboration, the MOU will provide opportunities, facilities and most importantly industrial exposure to the students of the Faculty of Law via the provision of guest lectures and internship opportunities focusing on international legal transactions.
