The Philip C Jessup International Moot Court Competition

The Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition (Malaysian National Rounds) was organised by the Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) from 22 to 24 February 2019. The battle between University of Malaya and UiTM in the final round had shown that both universities have strong and outstanding teams. The UiTM team was represented by Wardah Yumna Yunus, Ahmad Dzulhaziq Ahmad Mahmod, Althea Suraya Rahmat, Nur Fathin Amira Sapawi and Vanessa Iskandar Ng. Wardah Yumna was awarded as the Best Oralist for Preliminary Rounds. The team from University of Malaya won the competition and represented Malaysia to Washington DC, USA for the Philip C. Jessup (international rounds) which was held from 31 March to 6 April. The Faculty of Law of UiTM would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to all parties involved in this competition, in particular, members of the judiciary, Malaysian Bar and Selangor Bar for their full cooperation in providing the panel of judges for this competition.
