Mangrove tree planting programme: whisper of the wild

In fulfilling the requirements of the Event Management and Practices Course (EVM490), a total of 28 students from class BA2622B, accompanied by a lecturer from the Bachelor of Business Technology Management (BA262) programme at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Bandaraya Melaka, successfully organised a social responsibility programme entitled “Whisper Of The Wild.” The event was held on 14 June 2025 at Tanjung Tuan Eco Forest Park, Melaka, with the full support and collaboration of the Melaka State Forestry Department and The Wildlife Department. The programme featured several meaningful activities, including the planting of Rhizophora Mucronata (mangrove seedlings) in the mangrove swamp area, cleaning of the Eco Forest Park Grounds, and educational sharing sessions focused on forest preservation, wildlife conservation, and environmental law enforcement.
