Abstract
On 16th June 2025, 20 Diploma in Office Technology Management students from UiTM Alor Gajah campus visited the Alor Gajah Municipal Council (MPAG). This visit was crucial in providing students with direct, experiential learning about “green office” practices-aligning academic studies with real-world sustainability initiatives and fostering knowledge exchange between educational institutions and industry. The primary goal was to enhance students’ awareness and understanding of vital green practices. during the visit, MPAG’S green technology officer shared key green practices, including efficient energy use, reduced paper consumption, and responsible waste management. This experience significantly broadened the students’ perspective on industrial green initiatives and underscored their future role as administrators in supporting the sustainable development goals (SDGS). Such programmes are invaluable for promoting a green culture and providing best-practice references for contemporary office management.
