Abstract
The Iskandar Malaysia Youth Sustainability Network (IMYSN) held its inaugural annual general meeting on 13 June 2025 at Wisma Sunway Big Box, gathering over 50 students from five Johor-based higher education institutions. The event highlighted youth leadership in driving low-carbon and sustainable development, with strong support from the Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA). UiTM Pasir Gudang was among the key participants, with its delegate, Puteri Arien Adriana, elected as Vice President II for the 2025/2026 term. The AGM also marked the formation of a new leadership team and outlined a two-year action plan focused on impactful campus-community sustainability projects, cross-sector collaboration and climate literacy. These steps reinforce IMYSN’s role as a leading platform for youth-driven sustainability efforts in the region.
