Abstract
The Department of Medical Ethics and Law at UiTM is delighted to present the first-ever Medical Ethics and Law Intervarsity Competition, a groundbreaking event in Malaysia. This competition unfolded as a post- conference event following the UICCE on the 6th and 7th September and took place on the 8th September 2023. MELIVC 2023 was developed to foster awareness and promote a profound understanding of Medical Ethics and Law among medical students. Invitations were extended to both private and public universities offering medical programs across Malaysia. Ultimately, we received responses from five universities, including UiTM, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and University College Dublin Malaysia Campus (RUMC).
