Basic surgical skill 2023 empowering surgical knowledge among medical students

This month has been a historic month for the U.S.S.A, as this club grows and strengthens its engagement with more medical students in Malaysia. A total of around 70 students have been involved in this surgical workshop, where medical students were exposed to hand hygiene and its importance in surgery, common knots used in the operation theater, different types of wound closure techniques, and many more that will be the building block for a medical student once they enter their housemanship year and becomes closer towards becoming a surgeon.
