Assessing the 'empowering individuals, sustaining the earth' webinar: enhancing leadership and sustainability awareness through international collaboration

The MGT 538 (Personal Development and Ethics) course at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Jengka Campus hosted an online group project titled "Empowering Individuals, Sustaining The Earth" for 6th-semester Biology students. Held on June 8-9, 2024, this initiative aimed to improve leadership, self-management, and psychological skills through international collaboration. The webinar engaged 105 students from UiTM, Universitas Halu Oleo (Indonesia), and Princess of Naradhiwas University (Thailand), focusing on environmental conservation and personal growth. The event featured two key sessions streamed live on YouTube which is "The Road Ahead: Psychological Insights into the Journey from Student to Adult" and "Preserving Our Earth: Collaborative Conservation Insights". These sessions, led by experts Dr. Lies Indriyani and Dr. Farah Ayuni, aimed to enhance participants' understanding of global cooperation and sustainability. Feedback indicated that the program effectively addressed participants' needs, offering valuable insights and practical strategies for development. Opportunities for greater awareness and knowledge sharing were noted, alongside threats from competition and funding limitations. In conclusion, the webinar successfully promoted global collaboration and enhanced participants' perspectives on sustainability and personal development, meeting its educational objectives.
