Abstract

Given that the field of Quantity Surveying is a practical profession that is no longer meets the traditional teaching method at higher education levels, it is essential for the educational institution to appropriately adopt an innovative learning approach, feachfng, and assessment towards the students (Seifan, Dada, and Berenjian, 2020). It has been reported that not all students who come to class have a great knowledge of the subject matter they are about to study. Thus, the teacher must acknowledge the students to grasps the significance of the subject (Owolabi, 2017). According to (Cheng et al., 2017), it is necessary to obtain practical experience instead of gaining knowledge only from textbooks. A site visit is seen to be essential for the student to increase their understanding of the related subjects. Students can increase their experience of the working environment in the construction site. Students can see the construction technology and the construction process on-site rather than virtual learning in class (Nyamapfene, 2012).
