Abstract
This study explores the innovative integration of traditional Chinese embroidery into sustainable fashion, emphasizing the balance between cultural heritage and contemporary design needs. Renowned for its intricate craftsmanship and natural materials, traditional embroidery aligns with sustainable fashion principles. This research investigates the environmental benefits of traditional embroidery techniques, such as reduced resource consumption and waste generation. It also examines market trends and consumer preferences, highlighting the growing demand for culturally diverse and environmentally sustainable fashion products. Using case studies and qualitative research, this paper illustrates how advanced technologies like computer-aided design and production techniques can enhance production efficiency while preserving traditional craftsmanship. Findings indicate that traditional Chinese embroidery holds significant cultural value and offers promising opportunities for large-scale application in the modern fashion industry. This study provides valuable insights for designers and industry stakeholders aiming to promote sustainable fashion practices by connecting tradition and innovation.
