Abstract
Developing an extensive benefits program with a specific emphasis on geriatrics has the potential to significantly enhance the overall well-being of elderly individuals. This program has the ability to deal with several areas related to health, well-being, and social support. These community service programs provide senior individuals with chances to volunteer, actively participate in their communities, and contribute to the well-being of the elderly population. The objective of this program is to cultivate an affectionate regard for the elderly and foster an attitude of gratitude for them, irrespective of the pupils' gender or age. This curriculum has the potential to cultivate students who possess humanistic qualities and contribute to the development of a generation characterized by noble attributes. Furthermore, this program has the ability to evoke feelings of sympathy, empathy, and concern towards students, particularly female students, who are engaged in assisting elderly individuals who are disadvantaged and neglected by their offspring and relatives in attaining PI 039. Furthermore, it enhances the level of participation of both male and female students in volunteer activities (PI 028) and brings happiness and delight to isolated old individuals residing in nursing homes through a range of activities that can uplift and amuse them. The goal of this program is to reach PI 031 by providing a difficult setting for the elderly who have lost their familial relationships, where they can practice two-way communication to express emotions, feelings, and crucial information. Devoting attention to this program can greatly enhance the quality of life for elderly individuals, fostering physical and mental health, autonomy, and overall welfare. Additionally, it enhanced social interaction and diminished sensations of seclusion among the elderly population.
