Promote innovation, strengthen the economy: a critical analysis of the Rearm Europe Plan.
Bulletin.

Abstract
The European Commission’s Rearm Europe initiative, involving more than €800 billion in investment, has sparked debate across political, economic, and social spheres. While supporters argue that strengthening the European Union’s military capabilities will enhance security and drive technological innovation, critics warn that it may reduce social spending and encourage renewed militarization. This discussion highlights the broader question of whether long-term economic resilience and innovation should rely on military expansion or on investments that support sustainable growth, social stability, and global cooperation.
