Exploring environmental law: a forum on challenges by UiTMLaw and Rakan Alam Sekitar.

Abstract
UiTMLaw, through the Environmental Law Club (EnLAC), and Rakan Alam Sekitar, a student club under UiTM HEP, organized a forum on Environmental Law and its Challenges on May 19, 2023. The forum aimed at sharing the environmental law issues in Malaysia and the challenges faced in its implementation. The event was officiated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shahszan Zakaria, the Director of Student Development, UiTM. The forum included experienced speakers: Mr. Roger Chan Weng Keng, the Chairperson of the Bar Council Environmental and Climate Change Committee, Ms. Nurhuda Salam, the Head of the Prosecution Unit, the Department of Environment, Selangor and Mr. Hasrizal Abdul Rahim, the Deputy Legal Officer of Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat, Selangor.
