Environmental literacy @ Pantai Cunang: UiTMLaw students promote coastal awareness

On May 23, 2023, UiTMLaw students, in collaboration with the Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat (MPKL), organized "Environmental Literacy @ Panai Cunang," Pantai Cunang, Tanjung Sepat. The event aimed to raise awareness among the local community, including the Orang Asli community managing the beach as a tourist spot. Students from Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Brawijaya, and Universitas Trisakti, Indonesia, and the ADTE local Orang Asli community participated. Environmental Law (LAW 73) students organized the event. As part of the Service Learning Malaysia, University for Society (SULAM) initiative under the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), it was aimed for students to utilize their knowledge learned in lecture halls to resolve issues of society. The program was initiated by Timbalan Yang Dipertua MajIis Perbandaran Kuala Langat (MPKL), YBhg. Tuan Khairul Azam Sarani, and respected directors of MPKL.
