Our academic conference 2004

With so much emphasis on research, there has been a sudden surge in the number of researches completed. What were the outcomes? What were the findings. How can important findings be disseminated to the academic community of UiTM Sarawak? In order to share the information, a platform needs to be made available. The Academic Conference held from June 14th & 15th 2004 was aimed at just that. Two months of intense preparations brought about 200 lecturers of UiTM Sarawak to Santubong Resort for the second Academic Conference with the theme : Rethinking, Teaching, Learning and Researching." To officiate the occasion, was the Timbalan Naib Chancellor (TNC) of UiTM, Dato' Prof. Dr Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar. In his keynote address, he explained the latest developments in UiTM and outlined his vision, expectations and hope for the future of UiTM. Feedback from the lecturers indicated that a huge majority of the lecturers appreciated the keynote address.
