Abstract
With classes to attend, research to do and students to meet, there hardly seems time for lecturers to meet and interact. In an effort to forge better understanding and friendship, the English Department has made it imperative that they found the time to unwind and relax. The recent festive occasions have presented a good reason to do just that. The recent Deepavali and Hari Raya gathering in MKom 8 was well attended by the lecturers of the Department. In the spirit of the season, the lecturers contributed a generous spread of food. May there be more such occasions!
