Faculty lounge: the happening place

Thanks to the efforts of the new management committee led by Prof Madya Hj Lelawati, the Faculty Jubilee Lounge (FJL) has burst into a flurry of activities. It was a indeed exciting to experience that much of fun and fraternizing during the celebrations of the major festivals, DeepaRaya, Christmas and Chinese New Year coupled with birthdays of FLJ members over the last five months. We take this opportunity thank all those who helped to make these ocassions successful, particularly Prof Madya Dr Jamil and Prof Madya Dr Fatimah who despite their busy schedules took the trouble to be with us as a show of support and encouragement. The FJL committee promises more such events. It has also undertaken to provide better facilities and services for its members. The new head of the FJL, Prof Madya Pn Hj Lelawati is determined to bring FJL out of its doldrums and get it to be a place where lecturers can unwind and take time to partake in fellowship.
