An insight into criminal litigation: the trials and tribulations of criminal advocacy

UiTMLaw is committed to equipping final-year students with first-hand knowledge and invaluable exposure to matters relating to criminal trials, from pre-trial procedures to the ins and outs of appellate advocacy The UiTMLaw Criminal Litigation Workshop, titled 'An Insight into Criminal Litigation: The Trials and Tribulations of Criminal Advocacy', is part of the 'Academic Excellence Series: Beyond the Classroom', was conducted to meet this purpose. The ses­sions were conducted between November 2021 and January 2022 with the guidance of the learned and vastly experienced UiTMLaw Adjunct Professor, Mr Salim Bashir. As a renowned criminal litigation advocate and solicitor, UiTMLaw is very much privileged to have a committed Adjunct Professor such as Mr Salim Bashir, who has selflessly shared his expertise and undoubtedly become an inspiration to the students of the faculty. The Dean and the UiTMLaw family are truly grateful and thank Mr Salim Bashir for his outstanding contribution and dedication.
