Abstract
This study aims to examine how Optimal Group Companies address safety and health issues through their established methods and processes. It also evaluates the function of the ZeTo Rules from both theoretical perspectives and the company’s viewpoint. According to Ettorre (1997), safety refers to employees’ ability to make sound decisions and take appropriate actions to prevent workplace incidents. Employees generally expect a safe working environment, and workplace safety is a key priority for most organizations. All PETRONAS employees and contractors are required to comply with the ZeTo Rules at all times while on company premises or conducting company business. Rules regarding the use of walkie-talkies, mobile phones, seat belts, and speed limits apply when operating company-owned, hired, or leased vehicles, both inside and outside company premises. All existing safety rules and regulations must continue to be observed.
