Abstract
Lifecycle of a facility, including feasibility, design, development, expansion, refurbishment, repair, and demolition are involved by Quantity surveyors in all stages. Skills of Quantity Surveyors are focused on delivering constructions that satisfy the client's value system. The COVID-19 pandemic, which started at the end of 2019, has had a direct and indirect effect on people all over the world, including the Malaysian construction industry. Players in the building industry are currently working hard to adapt to the effects and changes brought on by the pandemic. Therefore, to investigate the effect of pandemic towards Quantity Surveyor profession and the factor affecting Quantity Surveyor profession during pandemic Covid-19 were the main goal of this study. The quantitative method was used in this study for research methodology by measure of questionnaire survey and was distributed to the QS employee for the evaluation. The Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) software was used to evaluate and collect the data. Based on the data, the effect of Covid-19 to Quantity Surveyor profession and factor affecting Quantity Surveyor during pandemic among Quantity Surveyor was external factor. From this study, it is hoped that this will give knowledge about the effect towards Quantity Surveyor and how they manage the problems will be discovered.
