Abstract
Founded in 1984, the Institute of Statistics Malaysia (ISMy) F is Malaysia's premier statistical society, dedicated to promoting and disseminating statistical knowledge for societal advancement. The ISM International Conference, ISMy's flagship event, alternates between public and private universities in Malaysia every two years. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) hosted the inaugural ISM-I in 2012, with subsequent editions held at other esteemed institutions such as Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Universiti Malaya, Sunway University, and UTM. This year, the sixth conference was hosted by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM) in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, on 19th and 20th of September 2023 with the theme, "Empowering Statistical Science and Analytics Through Research and Innovation".
