AR book : fine motor skills for preschool students on hand activities

AR Book of Fine Motor Skills is an augmented reality book for preschool students that focus on hands activities. This book focused on kitchen utensils that can be used to apply fine motor skills. It helps the students in developing their small muscles in themselves. The objectives of this project are to design and develop an augmented reality book of fine motor skills for preschool student on hand activities and to evaluate the usability of this augmented reality book to the preschool students. Research methodology used is ADDIE model. There are five preschool students that were tested to use this application using usability testing. The result has shown that the students were satisfied with the application. Augmented Reality is something new that can attract the interest of students in their education. In the future work, there are few recommendation for this project. The application can be improve by provide more language to be use and adding more animation features to attract the preschool students. Besides that, it can be improve by upload the application in the Playstore or the Appstore to allow the students to download the application in their phone. Finally, the project may also be implemented through virtual reality using data glove. With this technique, the students able to feel and interacting with virtual object. This technique can improve their fine motor skills better.
