Abstract
This report provides an analysis of the activities conducted throughout the semester, focusing primarily on the Human Resources Building (KSM) in Putrajaya, selected for the case study. The examination encompasses various topics studied during the semester, with a particular emphasis on assessing the quality of different aspects related to the building. The objective is to ensure optimal conditions, prolong the building's life cycle, minimize disruptions, and enhance comfort, safety, and security for tenants and users. The facility management team of Ikha Ventures Sdn Bhd is responsible for overseeing the building's management, operations, and finances. The report's content is derived from the comprehensive collection of information and data necessary to address all relevant chapters. It includes an in-depth study of property, maintenance management organization, maintenance policy and planning, building design, structural design, building condition assessment, maintenance strategy, legal considerations, financial aspects, and associated problems and recommendations. The study concludes by presenting an overall summary of the findings. All analyses, explanations, and classifications in this report are articulated from the perspective of Building Survey Diploma students in the 2024 session. The data is sourced primarily from the maintenance department, the internet, and our on-site observations in the Human Resources Building. These sources are deemed crucial to ensuring the validity and relevance of the information presented.
