FSR Shah Alam hosts successful 14-day International Sports Summer Program

The Faculty of Sport Science and Recreation (FSR), Shah Alam successfully concluded its 14- day international sports summer program with a grand farewell cultural night dinner on 30th June 2024. The program, which included 29 international students from Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan. Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia, was an immersive experience aimed at combining sports academic learning with practical outdoor activities The program featured diverse activities. including insightful lectures from 24 esteemed professionals in the field, engaging classroom sessions and hands on outdoor recreation activities such as kayaking, tree climbing, and camping survival skills. Participants also enjoyed visit to Bukit Jalil National Stadium and an excursion around Kuala Lumpur, providing a well-rounded exposure to Malaysia's rich cultural and sporting landscape. The farewell cultural night dinner at Seroja Hall was a vibrant celebration highlighting the program's success and the participants achievements. The evening featured a variety of performances, including musical performances by both countries and cultural presentations, showcasing the diverse backgrounds of the international students.
