Courtesy visit from Shandong University of Engineering and Vocational Technology, China to Universiti Teknologi MARA Sarawak

Distinguished delegates from Shandong University graced the occasion, led by President Professor Wu Mengjun, accompanied by Vice President Mr. Wang Shouguang and Ms. Wang Weijiao, Directorofthe International Exchangeand Cooperation Office. Notable figures from China Railway Construction, Director Mr. Lin Jialiang and Chiet Executive Mr. Wu Leilei were also in attendance. Under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Ts. ChM. Dr. Mohammad Isa Mohamadin, Acting Rector of UiTM Sarawak, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juferi Idris, Deputy Rector of Research and Industrial Linkages, a highly productive meeting ensued. Joined by coordinators from the Department of Research and Industrial Linkages, the gathering focused on fostering bilateral student and lecturer exchange programs. facilitating collaborative efforts in matching grants and joint research initiatives, and capitalizing on Shandong University's expertise in mechanical training and new energy technologies, aligning them with the interests and objectives of UiTM Sarawak. An exchange of mementos marked the significance of the occasion, with the presentation of a Luban Mozi College plaque, symbolizing the growing friendship and collaboration between the two institutions. This visit serves as a promising stride towards fortifying the bond between Shandong University of Engineering and Vocational Technology.
