Abstract
Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has become more important to the Malaysian economic. This paper will observes the performance of FDI in Malaysia by examines the significant relationship between FDI with the chosen dependent variables that is Growth Domestic Product (GDP), interest rate, foreign exchange rate and export. The data of stated variables are taken from the Data Stream between the periods of 2001 to 2009. This research study used Least Squares Method as the method of analysis and the findings are explained using the Single Linear Regression. This research study suggests that there have significant positive relationship between FDI with GDP and export. While, there have significant negative relationship between FDI with to both interest rate and foreign exchange rate. Overall, the all dependent variables used in this research report have affect on the condition of FDI in Malaysia either increase or decreasing in the performance.
